Viking News

This weekly news production is created by our 6th grade students during second
semester. Divided into six teams of seven, they are in control of content and
production with help from Mrs. Marsha Hauser. Our sixth graders develop organizational,
teamwork, information gathering, information sharing and technology skills while working
on this project. We are proud that all of our sixth grade students are involved in the Ed-Co
Viking News. This is the seventeenth year that the Ed-Co Viking News has been produced.

The news program is aired to the entire elementary school each Thursday morning. Our 6th
grade students do a great job of taking responsibility for the project and keeping the entire
school up-to-date on what’s happening!
